Can I take medications in pregnancy?

Always check with your GP or pharmacist in the event you have to take medication or are ‘buying across the counter’.
Medications are categorised for safety in pregnancy & breastfeeding.

I can prescribe various medications required during pregnancy, birth & afterwards but any required for medical conditions have to be prescribed by a Doctor.

Panadol is OK for standard pain relief during pregnancy but avoid anti-inflammatories such as neurofen and voltarin.
